Dear technology enthusiasts!

Welcome to my website. Here I present my projects to you on an ongoing basis.

I devote my free time to researching, collecting, repairing and operating technology from the late 19th and first half of the 20th century. Due to lack of space, my main focus is currently on bicycles, kerosene lamps, model steam engines and tools.

Repairing historical technology usually requires a fundamental refurbishment or even reproduction of individual components or entire assemblies. If you come across a work step that cannot be carried out correctly with the tools available, the manufacture of special tools is usually necessary.

Design change of original components and new designs are entirely my own developments. The design, durability and repairability of past times’ technology are defining. I generally manufacture my designs myself, provided I have the technical means available.

My projects and my website are a hobby and non-commercial. I hope you enjoy exploring them. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
